Formation of provider organizations

Our firm has formed and represented dozens of provider organizations, including single-specialty IPAs, multi-specialty IPAs, physician hospital organizations and integrated delivery systems. We perform a full range of services, from the initial meeting with the organizers, tax planning for the type of entity, offering of securities for sale, actual formation of the entity, antitrust counseling, obtaining state approval to function as a preferred provider arrangement (if desired), on-going representation of the entity and negotiation of contracts with payors.

Our clients range from a 13-provider organization of mental health professionals to a 500-physician multi-specialty IPA. We have designed, organized and represented several "virtual" physician/hospital organizations, and have also represented physician organizations in formation of integrated delivery systems.

We have organized ambulatory surgery centers, diagnostic imaging centers and radiation oncology centers.

We have assisted providers in organizing through contractual joint venture arrangements, business corporations, professional corporations and limited liability companies.
